A Loquacious Lexicon

Alicia has jumped into talking with both feet, so to speak. At this point she's surprising us with new words every day, some more decipherable than others, but she's clearly got this verbal development thing figured out. As Michelle is a teacher and a linguist, she has kept a list of the words which Alicia says. For a word to make the list, the rule is that she has to say it in context, showing that she understands the meaning, and she can't have just heard the word from one of us. It has to come from her own brain, not just repetition. And sometimes we count a two word phrase as one 'word,' if it's one idea to her and she doesn't say the words separately.
